Classroom Machines

Our classrooms are now equipped with top of the line PFAFF sewing machines for your use. You no longer need to bring your machine to class. We will provide one for your use.

Machine Repair

We offer machine repair services for all makes and models. General servicing (includes cleaning, oiling and timing adjustments) costs $59.95 for mechanical, $69.95 for computerized and $79.95 for embroidery machines. Estimates will be given for more serious problems.

Cancellation Policy

Many of our classes have wait lists. To receive store credit for any cancellation, we must be notified 72 hours in advance so we may offer your space to another student. No refunds will be given otherwise.

Classroom Use

Our classroom is free to use for a small group activity or to baste your quilts.  Just call ahead to arrange a time when the classroom is free.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are available for purchase.  Tell your friends and family they can find the perfect gift for you at Quilt Beginnings!

Birthday Discount

Shop within 7 days of your birthday and receive 20% off your fabric purchase! Proof of birthdate required. Discount applied to fabric on bolts only. Kits, fat quarters, and sale fabric are NOT included.

QB 500 Club

Our computerized check-out will keep track of your purchases at Quilt Beginnings. When you have purchased your first $500 of merchandise, we will give you a $50 SHOPPING SPREE to thank you for your patronage! Your $50 must be redeemed in full during a single visit on regularly priced items.

QB Tote Bag

Purchase your second $500 and you will become an honorary member of the Fat Quarter Club and receive a free canvas tote bag. Each time you make a purchase at Quilt Beginnings with your tote in hand, you will receive a free fat quarter (limit one per day, please!). Not only is the tote a great size for shopping, but it is perfect to carry your supplies to and from class. It’s our way to thank you each time you visit us.

Class Policies

Pre-registration is a must. Class fees are required to register. We consider your enrollment to be a commitment to our teachers, so please check class dates and your own calendar carefully before registering. Your supply list will be available when you register. Be sure to pick up the items on your supply list prior to class, so you can be prepared to start at once.
